Tony Sarkinen started out plumbing in 1991 for a couple of Clark County plumbing companies. He learned a lot in those early years as an apprentice and a journeyman. He learned that in order to grow in business, and to stay in business for the long-haul, it takes a ton of hard work, an unrelenting work ethic, a great support team, and a pin-point focus on providing the kind of customer service everyone tells their friends about. In 2003, Tony formed Sarkinen Plumbing. His goal was to build a business centered on honesty, trust, and exemplary customer service. He wanted a business where all of his employees treated their customers the way he wanted to be treated. Sarkinen Plumbing has achieved those goals. They continue to grow and serve the Portland, Vancouver and Longview communities in the same manner as when Tony began the company all those years ago.
After more than a decade of addressing the plumbing problems in thousands of homes, it became blatantly apparent that there was much more wrong than leaky pipes. People’s homes were consuming energy unnecessarily and worse than that, they were over all caustic. In 2010, Tony began researching home energy performance and looked for training and education in order to help the families living in homes that were inefficient and unhealthy. Today, he has a certified and trained crew of home energy survey professionals that are dedicated to fixing these issues. They have the satisfaction of bringing healthy environments and energy conservation to several clients who are thrilled with the results of the Sarkinen team’s efforts.
The years of service have made the name Sarkinen synonymous with service, trust, and respect. Combined with the drive to make a difference, Tony and his team of experts, have dedicated themselves to renew as many homes and help as many families as possible.
